I am trying to locate colour codes for my 1968 - 21DC. Tried to find in discussions but without success. I need to repaint the white/green parts on my newly acquired gem. Thanks in advance!

All we know about colors you can read on FAQ on this site.

The problem is they are almost all in Swedish. Try seeking ”färgkoder” in ”Bryggsnack” and then translate. Here is a thread about colour codes in ”Så gjorde jag”: https://www.coronet.nu/?rID=101&intArticleID=5.

”Bryggsnack” is ”Coronet forum” in English an ”Så gjorde jag” is ”How I did it”.

Hi Max,

When I repainted my previous DC21 -66 back in year 2007 following colour codes were used. See attached link.

Green: RAL 5021
White: RAL 9003, this is a true white colour.

Please check them out and compare with your boat first.

Do you have the hull number / serial number ?

Hello Johan, thx for the info! Bengt, I will check the hull/serial numbers when I get home from work on the 12th or maybe the next morning. This is what I suspected myself, after seeing all -68’s on the clubs website beeing painted with this lighter green…the name of the boat is ’Tant Grön -68’ so that’s why I assumed it is a -68. Just bought it very recently end of last summer…

Aika vaikea rasti on löytää juuri oikeat sävyt Suomesta. Selvittelin asiaa viime syksynä ja esim clubin myymää värikoodia ei Suomen Interthane maalin maahantuojalta löydy eikä myöskään muuntotaulukkoa suoraan niiden koodilla. RAL sävyistä taisi toi 5021 olla lähin. Muistaakseni tilasin sitä ja maalasin oman konehuoneen. Sävy ei ole aivan kannen värinen, mutta kansikin on matkan varrella varmaan muuttanut väriään.
Vuosimalleissa -66 ja -67 oli toi tummempi vihreä ja siitä eteenpäin vaaleampi. Vuosimalli helposti selvitettävissä runkonumeron perusteella. Mun veneessä ( Explorer 2 vm -66 ) numero löytyi peräpeilin sisäpuolelta hieman keskilinjasta styyraan päin.

Moi Timo, kiitos vinkistä! Täytyy mennä etsimään sitä runkonumeroa kunhan pääsee mereltä veks. Pieni epäilys tosiaan syntyi kun katselin muiden klubilaisten -68 kuvia, kaikki vaaleita. Ei se mua haittaa vaiks olisikin -66 tai -67, kunhan nyt haluan selvyyden ennenkuin lähden ostelee värejä. Ymmärsin et niitä sais tilattua klubin kautta Ruotsistakin…

Could not find the serial number on my boat, as the area is painted in green. But my friend has an identical (he also has believed it is a -68) in the darker green. I managed to take a photo of his serial number…

Carefully try to sand off the paint in the area with wet sanding paper.
You should be able to find the serial number there.

I attach a link to the serial number page, there you can identify the manufacturing year etc.

Johan & Timo, thx! My friends Coronet is a -67, he also thought it was a -68. I will try to sand down the paint little to be able to check mine…
