Hei ! i am looking for some tips and guidelines to change my liner in my 24 midi. DO I need to unmount all the wood furnitures to change it? or could I do this in a day or 2 while the boat is on water? I don't really have access to the boat when on winter storage. thanks for feedback, time idea and if you even have photographic documentation when you did it yourself, it would be amazing.

Sorry, it''s not fixad in a day or two. You will have to remove the wooden coamings under the windows, the backrests, the table holders and the forward bolkhead. This is easy. Next, you must remove the old lining. Try to keep the pieces intact, so you can use them as patterns for the new ones. Then remove the the soft backning and the glue. You can use glue remover or brute force. Due to poor ventilation I used the latter. After trying different methods, i found a stel brush on an angle grinder was efficient but dusty.
Part of the roof is a masoniten board, which was sagging, so I made a new one from 4 mm plywood.
With the interiör party removed, I took the opportunity to take out an clean the water tank and replace the water hoses. I also sanded and varnished the mahogny interior.
Next is to apply the new lining. I used pre-glued (self-adheshive) material. I said a few dirty words while applying it, but brushing on separate glue might be even worse.
I also made new cushions. I had an offer from my usual supplier, but decided to do the job by myself. It took me some 40 hours, which gave a decent financial outcome. Pictures coming.
Yes, I''m retired and have plenty of time.

Thanks a lot Mikael for all those details and taking the time to share! Do you think it is possible to do it while its on water?

Good reason to spend some bad weather days in the boat!
