Have an original, complete, Workshop Manual (in English) for the following Volvo Penta engines: AQ105A - 115A/B - 130A/B/C - 165A - 170A.
Not for sale, but can send copies upon request.
NB, this manual is not avaiable any more from Volvo Penta.
Most documentation older than 25 years cannot be found on VP:s homepage, nor information requested given by Engine/Serial numbers, according to message given from web. Have tried to get info on my 170A engines from 1976, without any success!
Was lucky to get the manual from the previous owner of my Coronet 31 Seafarer. The boat is manufactured in 1976 by Coronet Boats Ltd, Woodstock, New Brunswick, Canada, on license by Botved Boats.

Please excuse me, but I'm actually responding not to the subject of your posting, but to a statement you made within your posting. You said your 31 SF was manufactured in Canada under license from Botved. I wasn't aware that Coronets were manufactured in Canada, and I'm wondering if our 1971 32 Deepsea which we bought last summer in Ontario was built in Canada... Do you have any information on the subject of Canadian-built Coronets, and is this a well-known fact among Coronet owners that I simply wasn't aware of? I wonder if this explains why the lower control station is on the port side.

My 31 SF is manufactured in Canada and I am sure we have another one in Sweden, as You can see in the Coronet Registry. I have been in contact with the owner of this boat. My boat have been stationed in Miami, Florida, most of her lifetime and still is!
The Serial Number starts with "ZCA". On a nameplate I found on the instrument panel in my boat the following information is stated: "Coronet Boats Ltd., Woodstock N.B. (New Brunswick), Canada. Serial No. ZCA3112 7M 76F" where "76F" is the manufacturing year. Have You find this plate on Your boat? Can You see the hull''s number at the stern? Do You still have the original engines, or are they replaced with new ones?
My 31 SF still have the old VP 170:s (twin) with reduction gear and shaft!
I am trying to get some information about the factory to try to find out which models where built in Canada. Wasn''t aware of the fact that there where 32 Deepsea built there. Very interesting!

I've wondered about the origin of our 32 Deepsea for months, but I really assumed it was built in Denmark. I was never able to find the hull number, but there is a number embossed professionally (and in distinctly European style font) on the center beam between the engines. The number is 346959 10-71. I tried to explain to the broker in Canada that this number didn't follow Botved's format, but he insisted it indicated that the boat was built in 1971. He knew nothing about Coronets and didn''t even know they were Danish-but no matter. I did buy the boat from the son of the original owner. And he, too, knew little about Coronets, or that they were made in Denmark, for that matter.

The engines are twin VP AQ225B with VP AQ280 single-prop drives, and I don't know if these are the original engines.

That's interesting about the Florida Coronet.

Just in process of buying 1976 31Seafarer with flying bridge. Boat was sunk in slip stern down and engines were in water. Engines are in line 6 with 3 carburetors. Appear to be original engines. Very interested in obtaining manual.
